Job description

Job Description:

As a Warehouse operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring Cambria's promise of quality and efficiency. This position is responsible for staging and preparing slabs for shipping, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory and maintaining the sales distribution center in a clean and organized manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts & overhead cranes with precision and safety

  • Build and verify customer orders, ensuring all slabs are correctly identified and loaded into delivery trucks

  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, keeping inventory levels accurate and readily accessible

  • Conduct daily safety inspections on equipment and report any potential issues

  • Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers with products of varying size and weight

  • Inspect slabs for any material defects

  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to achieve common goals

  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior experience operating overhead cranes, forklift with boom and gator preferred

  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to quality and safety

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Knowledge of the use of handheld scanners and proficiency in basic computer applications

  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Minimum Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Push/pull 100 lbs.

  • Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift

  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria

  • Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises

  • Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions

  • Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift

  • Bend over multiple times throughout shift

Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
