Location: Humble, TX 77396

Pay Rate: $17/ hr to $21/hr ,  (Depending on experience and type of machine)

Schedule:  12-hour shift,  Night or Day Shift available

Overview

We are seeking experienced machine operators for a metal manufacturing factory in Humble, TX.  Successful candidates will have experience in operating any of a variety of manufacturing machinery and equipment, used in the production of high-quality metal alloy products. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, have experience with extrusion, wire drawing, steel rolling, press brake, packaging, furnace, tool and die and/or other manufacturing machines and have an understanding of manufacturing processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic factory environment dedicated to precision and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor various manufacturing machinery, including metal extrusion, wire drawing, rolling mill, plating, stamping presses, press brake machines, foundry furnace and/or packaging machines.
  • Set up equipment using technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise operation.
  • Perform routine inspections and quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.
  • Adjust machine parameters and troubleshoot mechanical or electronic issues to maintain optimal production flow.
  • Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling tools; assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, machine settings, and quality data.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently and ensure all equipment is operated in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with team members on assembly lines, fabrication tasks, and packaging operations to meet production targets.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on machine performance and process efficiencies.


Experience:

  • Proven factory experience operating manufacturing machinery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on knowledge of machine operation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with metal manufacturing and fabrication machinery is a plus.
  • Bilingual, English / Spanish is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with SAP or production reporting.
  • Overhead crane operation experience is a plus.
  • Experience with blueprint reading and technical drawings.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing and fabrication tools such as tooling setups, dies, stamping presses, and press brake machines.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents such as CAD files or SolidWorks models.
  • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
  • Previous warehouse or materials handling experience preferred for efficient inventory management.
