Siemens Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit is headquartered in Wendell, NC,. The EA Business Unit has a diverse portfolio of products, including, but not limited to, low-voltage MCC, CMR fuse saver, MV switchgear, MV circuit breakers, and metering, power monitoring, power quality, and protective relay maintenance and systems of a standard nature.
We are looking for a PFEP (Plan for Every Part) Coordinator. This position will be based at our Wendell, NC facility. Relocation assistance is available.
You will be responsible for organizing and optimizing how every material or component is stored, moved, and replenished in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
You'll make an impact by:
Developing and maintaining the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) database to define storage, packaging, labeling, and replenishment methods for all materials
Analyzing and optimizing material flow across production and warehouse operations to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Partnering with production, supply chain, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and standardized material handling processes
Implementing and supporting lean practices such as kanban, point-of-use storage, and continuous improvement initiatives
Driving inventory accuracy and space utilization improvements through data analysis and process standardization
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in supply chain, materials management, manufacturing, or warehouse operations
Experience working with inventory systems, data tracking, or material planning tools
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage detailed datasets
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing or managing PFEP databases or similar material flow systems
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles such as kanban, 5S, and continuous improvement
Experience working in a manufacturing or high-volume production environment
Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP) and advanced Excel skill
The pay range for this position is $54,835 - $94,003 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
