Job description

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Inspector is responsible for visually examining coated oil and gas components to ensure they meet quality and customer requirements. This position also supports packaging and shipment preparation activities, maintains inspection records, and helps ensure products are delivered accurately and in accordance with company standards.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Visually inspect coated parts for scratches, chips, missed coating, or other defects.
  • Make sure parts meet quality requirements before they are packaged.
  • Separate parts that do not meet quality standards and notify the manager.
  • Complete inspection paperwork and production records.
  • Package finished parts according to work instructions.
  • Label and prepare products for shipment.
  • Handle parts carefully to prevent damage.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Follow all safety rules and company procedures.
  • Assist with other production duties as needed.

Requirements
EHS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Complete all work in accordance with safety requirements supporting the company's Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) goals.
  • Engage in all environmental and safety training requirements consistently.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, production, inspection, or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to identify visible defects and pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
