A Day in the Life of a Kitting Packager

This role has been designated by the Company as safety sensitive. As a Kitting Packager, you will assemble kits by locating, processing, and packaging customer parts while maintain quality work. Operating shrink machine equipment, foam and bag machine, and poly bag equipment. Transacting required job travelers and tickets. Perform oracle and Dematic transaction to determine location to move to the assigned storage area. Each day is an opportunity to exceed our dealer and customer expectations, thus contributing to the overall success of our company!

What you need to be Successful at Trane Technologies - Thermo King

To be considered for permanent roles, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED

  • To be at least 18 years of age

  • To be able to lift and move up to 40 lbs

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Previous distribution center or warehouse experience

  • Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated accuracy in picking and assembling kits.

  • The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

  • The ability to be at work in a prompt and reliable fashion, demonstrating a cooperative and respectful work style and operating in adherence with all quality, safety, and other policies.

  • A willingness to go above and beyond job specific tasks associated with the position to ensure the continual success of the entire warehouse operation

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30p.m.If overtime exists, the shift will start at 6:00 a.m. and work some mandatory Saturdays, as needed.
