Position Summary:
We are looking for a driven, passionate, and team oriented Graphic Designer to focus on the company's internal deliverables and established brands. This role requires a broad range of design skills to meet all the creative needs of the company, including designing, ideation, creating, cutting out, and mocking up. The designer will work on a wide variety of projects across digital and printed media, supporting our CPG division specializing in freeze-dried fruit products and expanding into dried and frozen products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design a wide variety of materials across digital and printed media
  • Work with Art Director and Marketing Manager to create graphics, including illustration, photography, typography, logos, etc.
  • Assist in shaping visual aspects of marketing, social media, websites, product packaging, tradeshow graphics, advertisements, and more, while maintaining brand recognition
  • Research and become familiar with competition and existing brands
  • Manage and execute internal studio projects
  • Create internal communications materials (e.g., name tags, event graphics)
  • Support the social media team with original, engaging content for our freeze-dried products
  • Develop packaging designs for new and existing product lines, including private label projects
  • Interact with 3rd party vendors and manage design work through partner agency portals
  • Contribute to food and recipe-related social media content
  • Create 3D comps of CPG packaging using advanced 3D design software
  • Maintain brand consistency across all design projects
  • Create PowerPoint presentations and other corporate communications
  • Research and become familiar with competition and existing brands to watch

Required Experience, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Minimum Associates' degree with a focus on graphic design, plus 2 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Premier Pro and After Effects would be a plus
  • Knowledge of digital 3D software
  • Self-starter with great communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and easily switch gears in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong eye for visual composition
  • Knowledge of fundamental design layout principles
  • Knowledge of the printing process and setting up files for print
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate, accept feedback, and make changes to designs
  • Ability to create mock-ups/prototypes of ideas
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-centric mindset, able to view projects from the client's perspective
