Job description

Manufacturing Utility / Packaging Support

Shift: Day – 5 AM to 1:30 PM Type: Full-time Pay-rate: 24.29$ - 27.77$


Position Summary

The Manufacturing Utility is responsible for supporting production operations by preparing packaging materials, assisting with labeling, and ensuring efficient flow of materials within the facility. This role plays a key part in maintaining organization, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble packaging materials required for daily production
  • Print, verify, and apply labels accurately according to product specifications
  • Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure correct labeling and packaging standards
  • Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area at all times
  • Stack finished products safely and accurately on pallets
  • Operate pallet jack (walkie) and forklift in accordance with safety procedures (certification required or provided)
  • Supply prepared packaging materials to kettles and production lines for unloading and packaging
  • Assist production team with additional duties as required
  • Follow all food safety, HACCP, GMP, and workplace safety policies


Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or packaging environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Basic computer skills for label printing and documentation
  • Forklift and walkie experience considered an asset (or training will be provided)
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Strict adherence to GMP, hygiene, and safety standards required


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
