Job description

To strengthen our Facilities Warehouse team, we are looking for a
WAREHOUSE, PACKAGING AND SHIPPING SPECIALIST
ROLE
You will be responsible for supporting warehouse, inventory control, packaging, shipping, and receiving operations at STA Technologies, while also supporting internal customers, logistics activities, material movement, and facility operations to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming materials and shipments.
  • Prepare, package, label, and ship domestic and international orders in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory transactions within ERP systems.
  • Pick, pack, stage, and distribute materials to internal customers.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of shipments.
  • Process shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing slips, customs paperwork, and related records.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and material storage locations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, environmental requirements, and shipping regulations.
  • Assist with special projects and other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

PROFILE
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory control, or logistics operations.
  • Experience with domestic and international shipping procedures preferred.
  • Experience using ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems (SAP experience preferred).
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Knowledge of shipping documentation, inventory transactions, receiving processes, and warehouse best practices.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to support internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
