What youll do
  • This lab based Application Engineer will lead internal and external technical requests and projects for the Packaging & Labeling team within the Consumer Goods Adhesives (APC) group, with strong emphasis on both hands on lab work and lab ownership
  • Lead and execute laboratory testing for customer requests and internal initiatives, including product recommendations, performance validation, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Develop, adapt, and maintain test methods and plans tailored to specific customer needs within Packaging & Labeling applications
  • Organize, analyze, and summarize technical findings with internal databases and other digital tools to make sound product recommendations and define next experimental steps
  • Prepare clear and high quality laboratory reports for customer communication and internal use. Make presentations to internal work group or Packaging and Labeling department as needed
  • Collaborate with the APC Field Application Engineering, Sales, and Product Development teams to support customer needs
  • Lead ongoing harmonization of laboratory test methods
  • Ensure laboratory and application equipment are calibrated, safety checked, and properly maintained
  • Run customer lab demonstrations using application equipment
