Package Handler Temporary

$19/hr 8am - 5pm, M-F OT as needed

*** Sit and Stand Forklift Experience Required***

We are a supplier of industrial condition monitoring systems to many of the world’s leading manufacturers and users of cooling towers, gas turbines, reciprocating compressors, and other rotating and reciprocating machinery. With headquarters in Houston, Texas, we operate in more than 40 countries via factory-direct sales and service professionals, along with a strategic network of instrumentation partners. We pioneered the concept of simple, affordable machinery protection with our seismic measurement technology. Initially focused on geophysical exploration, this technology also found abundant applications for vibration measurements on industrial machines and has been our focus for 50 years.

Essential Tasks & Duties:
  • Generates packing lists and work orders.
  • Inspects and packs company-made products.
  • Performs accurate packaging for outbound shipment of goods to end users.
  • Assist in preparation of export documents for third-party vendors. Make necessary changes if specifications change.
  • Performs picking and kitting of parts to support Production departments.
  • Assists in daily cycle counts as needed
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse.
  • Operate the modular through storing parts
  • Operate forklift as needed.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience operating a floor lift in a warehouse environment

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Detailed oriented with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to perform numerical calculations such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to operate forklift and floor jack
  • Ability to physically lift up to 45 lbs. occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently
