Job description


Cardinal Staffing is partnered with a growing book publishing company seeking dependable warehouse associates to join their team. This role is responsible for inspecting and packaging books and printed materials accurately and efficiently to ensure timely shipment to customers.
Warehouse Associates are working 2nd (3p-11p) or 3rd shift (11p-7a) typically 5-6 days a week. Pay rates start at $16-16.50/hr. with a increase in pay upon hire in. Stee toes required.
Responsibilities
• Pick and pack books according to order invoices
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Prepare cartons for shipment and apply accurate shipping labels
• Inspect books for damage or print defects before packing
• Assemble boxes and organize packing materials
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking shelves
• Follow safety procedures and meet daily productivity goals
