Job description

The purpose of the Material Handler position is to move goods from point to point within the warehouse or distribution center to supply production areas with product or remove finished goods from work areas to maintain continual operation and productivity standards for the facility.
Responsibilities
  • Performs tasks associated with moving goods from point to point
  • Supply production areas with product or remove finished goods to a warehouse storage area
  • Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate issues.
  • Sort and process materials as designated
  • Pack and fill boxes or pallets in an organized manner according to weight restrictions
  • Record, document, and file materials as directed to maintain organization and inventory accuracy
  • Assemble orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department
  • Maintain baseline productivity goals daily
  • Provide timely feedback to management on fulfillment issues, inventory discrepancies, or safety issues.
  • Operating an RF device

  • Assist with Inventory Control team as needed
