Job description

Job Title: Graphic Design Manager
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Schedule- 8am to 5pm

The Graphic Design Manager will lead the creative team responsible for packaging artwork, sales materials, digital graphics, and catalogs across multiple brands. This role combines hands-on design expertise with leadership, ensuring high-quality creative output across packaging, marketing, and print production.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product packaging, print production, and digital marketing design, with proven experience managing and mentoring a distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Team Management

Manage and mentor a team of graphic designers, including remote and international team members.

Oversee daily workflows, prioritize requests, and ensure timely delivery of all creative materials.

Review and approve design work to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.

Maintain design standards, file structures, and creative processes for efficiency and clarity.

Packaging & Print Design

Design and prepare packaging artwork for Flexographic, Offset, and Digital printing processes.

Ensure designs meet all technical production specifications and brand guidelines.

Collaborate with print vendors to verify proofs, dielines, substrates, and ink formulations.

Work with Pantone color systems; familiarity with GCMI color standards is considered an asset.

Digital & Marketing Design

Produce digital assets for social media, email marketing, and online campaigns.

Design sales materials, sell sheets, and product catalogs for both print and digital use.

Collaborate with the marketing team to translate marketing program direction into visual campaigns.

Work closely with the sales team to develop creative materials that support sales initiatives.

5+ years of professional graphic design experience (packaging and print focus preferred).
