Come join our Awesome team!  Our drivers average over $30 including Tips, Wage and $3 per delivery taken.  This is a very fast paced environment and we need applicants who are self motivated and team players.
JOB STATEMENT/PURPOSE:
Delivery Driver is to execute the vision/mission of Uncle Joe’s Pizza in their Uncle Joe’s Pizzeria.   Key responsibility areas include providing superior customers service while delivering pizzas and other Uncle Joe’s products from Uncle Joe’s Pizza locations to customers front door. The Delivery Driver is a key position as they are the face of Uncle Joe’s Pizza and must leave a lasting positive impression. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   
  • Create an environment that consistently provides high levels of service to our guests.  
  • Package pizzas and other Uncle Joe’s products to be delivered to customer premises.  
  • Utilize the Drive App from Thrive, Safely Deliver Food ???? Read Tickets, be sure all side items are packaged (salads, dressings, sodas & desserts)  
  • Answer telephone and take phone orders in Thrive, offer suggestive selling.  
  • Collect money and coupons from customers.   
  • Signature required with ID verification for all credit/debit card purchases.  
  • Assist with preparation of pizzas and other Uncle Joe’s products   
  • Assemble pizza boxes   o Wash dishes, sweep & mop floors.  
  • Keep all counter areas and back area neat and clean at all times.  

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:   
  • Reliable transportation   
  • Current, valid Alaska drivers’ license required.   
  • Current, clean DMV report required. Driver cannot have more than one moving violation per year in the past 3 years or more than one accident in the past 3 years.   
  • Current auto insurance required.  
  • Excellent customer service skills required.  
  • Excellent communication skills required.  
  • Ability to compute change – basic math skills required.  
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds on a frequent basis.  
  • Excellent job skills and attendance required.  
  • Ability to utilize lighted delivery sign on top of vehicle.  

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:   
  • Distribute coupons and other promotional material with pizza deliveries.
