Wieland is hiring a Packaging Associate 1. The Packaging Assoicate 1 will be responsible for working safely while packaging components in the packaging centers. Produce parts to the production schedule while folowing safty, operating and quality guidelines and instructions. This role is located in Montpelier, OH and will be fully on-site. 

Starting Pay: $20.00

Schedule: 6 AM - 4 PM, Monday-Thursday

Pay Schedule: Weekly


Packaging Associate 1 Responsibilities:

  • Work safely and promote the safety of those working around you; help build a proactive safety culture
  • Meet Forgeworks' customers' demand by operating packaging equipment including:
    • Job setup – changing out bags and label printing as necessary
    • Running the job following JSWPs and quality processes
    • Clean up and preparation for the next job
  • Meet or exceed the quality expectations of the customer as defined by the Engineering and Quality organizations by following the quality process
  • Meet or exceed financial targets by achieving operating performance targets such as yield and operating efficiency

Packaging Associate 1 Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to lift 30 pounds
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Problem solving skills / critical thinker
  • Desire to learn and develop technical skills to keep current with changing manufacturing processes
