About The Position

Saint Thomas University is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Mail and Package Clerk to support daily operations by receiving, sorting, distributing, and tracking all incoming and outgoing mail and packages. This role is essential to maintaining an organized and efficient flow of materials throughout our facilities. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to the appropriate departments or recipients
  • Prepare and process outgoing mail, shipments, and courier requests
  • Maintain accurate logs of received and delivered packages
  • Ensure secure handling and storage of parcels awaiting pickup
  • Communicate with staff, vendors, and carriers regarding deliveries, discrepancies, or special handling needs
  • Assist with inventory of mailing supplies and restock as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Provide courteous customer service to internal staff and external vendors
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
