Job description


An Inventory Support Associate is responsible for the timely and efficient input of Fruit and Vegetable production. This employee is expected to work safe, smart and be accurate in their recording of finished product.
Duties and responsibilities
  • Count finished production and entered in the production software.
  • Pack out entered production quantities in the production software.
  • Report shorts and schedule deviations to Supervisors and Schedulers.
  • Label finish production cases correctly.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized work area.
  • Adhere to the company's established procedures.
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are always adhered to.
  • Immediately report any observation of contamination to their supervisor.
  • Follow all in-house Standards Operating Procedures.
  • Always follow and comply with company's safety program.
  • Report on all unsafe working conditions to the supervisor immediately.
  • Never attempt to work on machinery that the employee has not been properly trained to use.

Qualifications
Qualifications include:
  • 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing and food safety experience
  • Must be able to operate both manual and electric pallet jacks
  • Experience in working in a food processing environment preferred
  • On the job training is provided to allow for the proper fulfillment of duties.
  • Organizational and logistics skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to use a computer and other office technology
  • Intermittent or expert level in Microsoft in particular excel
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English a plus)

Working conditions
The work environment includes congested and high traffic areas, slippery floors, working alongside forklifts, single pallet jacks, electric walk behind jacks and hand carts. Walking and working is done on concrete flooring. Some duties are performed in the warehouse and will require work to be done in varying climates. Temperatures range from zero in the coolers to 95 degrees Fahrenheit or above outdoors. The shift end-time fluctuates with the employer's daily needs.
Physical requirements
  • Able to work irregular, extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
  • Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction

Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
