Vista Health System is a community healthcare provider; a network that includes Vista Medical East campus and the Vista Lindenhurst campus that includes Vista Ambulatory Care Center, Lindenhurst Surgery Center, LLC, a freestanding Emergency Center, and the Medical Office Building. The Vista Health system also has several locations for imaging, patient therapy, and physician offices throughout Lake County, Illinois.

Vista Health System is interested in hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech unit who is looking to broaden his/her skills and gain valuable experience working in a community hospital that worked hard to achieve status as certified Centers of Excellence in numerous critical areas of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with organization, department, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and work area.
  • Perform intra-procedural responsibilities for cardiac catheterization procedures, electrophysiology studies, and pacemaker/ICD insertion.
  • Perform special radiographic procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Satisfactory completion of a two-year formal radiology training program in an AMA-approved school.
  • One year of experience as a staff technologist.
  • Current licensure as a radiology technologist in Illinois
  • Registered or eligible for registry by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers - CPR certification required.
