Pacemaker Clinic Coordinator - RN

Job Description

This position involves collaborating with the department manager to coordinate the pacemaker clinic. Responsibilities include interrogation of implantable devices in the ambulatory care setting, during hospital stays, and device implants; patient education; device interrogation; wound management; remote device monitoring/interpretation; and follow-up. You will also be expected to participate in research and cross-train in the EP Laboratory.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate pacemaker clinic operations with the department manager.
  • Perform device interrogation in various settings.
  • Provide patient education and support for device management.
  • Manage wound care related to device implants.
  • Monitor and interpret remote device data.
  • Participate in research initiatives.
  • Cross-train in the Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • 1 to 3 years of cardiac/Critical Care nursing experience required.
  • Cath lab or EPS lab experience preferred.
  • Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing with valid NJ RN Licensure required.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required.
  • IV certification and arrhythmia certification required; RCES preferred.
Schedule

This is a 12-hour AM shift position, Monday through Friday.
