Revolution Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.

Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN – Ohio

Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12-hour rotating day/night shifts (36 hours per week), weekdays and some weekends, rotating holidays required

Highlights:

  • 30-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in lower acuity cardiac patients with electrophysiology focus
  • Patient ratio of 1:3-4 across all shifts
  • EPIC charting system in use
  • Diverse case mix including arrhythmias, syncope, chest pain, congestive heart failure, post-CABG, and valve repair patients
  • Special procedures include pacemaker management, arrhythmia ablation, cardioversions, and sheath management
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
  • Cardiac experience strongly preferred
  • EPIC experience required
  • Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation
  • Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission)
  • Willingness to float to units of similar or lower acuity as needed
  • Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
  • 2 professional references required (at least 1 from manager/director or formal leadership)
  • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
