We are seeking a Laborer for a position in Pace, FL. The Laborer position is responsible for assisting skilled construction workers in performing their assigned duties and performing a large variety of duties. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Ability to follow instructions without being distracted
  • Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
  • Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
  • Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
  • Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Functional Requirements:

Digs, spreads and levels dirt and gravel, Lifts, carries, and holds building materials, tools, and supplies, Cleans tools, equipment, materials, and work areas, Mixes, spreads, or pours concrete, asphalt, gravel, or other materials, Joins, wraps, and seals sections of pipe, Performs a variety of non-machine tasks such as, removing forms from set concrete, filling expansion joints with asphalt, placing culvert sections in trench, etc., Spends time on one job or may be transferred from task to task as the project progresses to completion, Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
