The Role

We’re looking for an Innovation Development & Commercialization Manager in San Antonio to help bring the next generation of Pabst products to life.

This role sits at the intersection of innovation, operations, quality, and commercialization; helping turn new product ideas into scalable, high-quality products that show up successfully in-market. From pilot production to full-scale manufacturing, you’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to move projects from concept to reality.

What You'll Do

In this role, you’ll help shape how innovation comes to life across the Pabst portfolio.

  • Partner closely with Innovation teams to support development and commercialization of new beverage products
  • Lead commercialization efforts from bench development through pilot production and full-scale manufacturing
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners to develop scalable and operationally sound production processes
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Packaging, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance
  • Support formulation reviews, ingredient validation, process design, and scale-up activities
  • Manage timelines, milestones, launch readiness, and commercialization risk assessments
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and identify opportunities to improve product consistency and operational efficiency
  • Ensure product specifications, process parameters, and manufacturing requirements are clearly documented and communicated
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing capability, commercialization efficiency, and innovation execution
  • Evaluate new ingredients, suppliers, technologies, and manufacturing capabilities to support future growth
  • Partner with Quality teams to investigate and resolve product quality issues and customer concerns
  • Support product optimization efforts related to performance, shelf stability, and manufacturing efficiency
  • Participate in plant trials, technical reviews, and manufacturing assessments at partner facilities as needed
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Brewing Science, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in beverage, brewing, food manufacturing, product development, commercialization, or quality operations
  • Strong understanding of beverage manufacturing, commercialization workflows, and quality systems
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects in manufacturing or CPG environments
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical reporting tools
  • Experience in alcoholic beverage, brewing, RTD, energy drink, or functional beverage categories preferred
  • Familiarity with co-manufacturing environments, HACCP, GMPs, and food safety systems is a plus
