Job Summary:

Position Title: Physician Assistants
Location: Attica, NY 14011
Duration: 105 weeks
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm
Pay rate: $100-$!05/hr.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide primary, acute, and chronic care services within the certified specialty and scope of practice.
  • Evaluate patients, obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and assess health conditions.
  • Diagnose illnesses, injuries, and other health problems.
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications, diagnostic tests, and treatments in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic test results.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
  • Provide preventive care, patient education, counseling, and health-promotion services.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and coordinated patient care.
  • Provide clinical guidance, education, and training to nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
  • Follow applicable clinical, regulatory, safety, infection-control, and facility policies.
  • Respond appropriately to urgent and acute patient-care needs.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards of care.
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program.
  • Current Physician Assistant license/certification in the applicable state.
  • Current NCCPA certification, if required.
  • Prescriptive authority and knowledge of applicable medication and treatment regulations.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.
  • Knowledge and experience providing primary, acute, and chronic care.
  • Ability to interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Ability to provide clinical leadership, guidance, and training to nursing staff.
  • Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while recognizing when physician consultation or referral is appropriate.
  • Commitment to patient safety, quality care, professionalism, and confidentiality.
