OVME studio teams are composed of creative caregivers who provide "age-appropriate" skin health solutions.  As the needs of the medical aesthetics consumer have evolved beyond the traditional industry landscape, OVME's highly trained professionals are thought leaders who understand the status quo must be challenged to remain vibrant, achieving excellence through honesty, transparency, and attention to detail.  OVME's product promise is simply, "The best OV you."
The company was founded in July 2017 by Dr. S. Mark McKenna, a medical doctor who earned his Medical Doctorate from Tulane University School of Medicine.  He is a certified Allergan Medical Facial Aesthetics Trainer (FAST) and one of America's most prolific providers of medical injectables.  OVME currently operates twelve medical aesthetic studios in key locations in Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, Illinois, North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, with additional studios underway for 2022.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The Injector-in-Training reports to the Studio Manager and works closely with the Regional Manager, Talent Development team, and the Chief Medical Officer.

Key Responsibilities
The Injector-in-Training is intended to provide an opportunity for trained nurses, looking to transition into the Medical Aesthetics field.  This 12-week comprehensive program is a combination of “class” training, shadowing, and hands on.  After successful completion of the 12-week program, the candidate will be placed in an Injector position either in a studio or as a Traveling Injector.
  • Successfully complete 12 Injector in Training program and be placed Injector with OVME.
  • Training includes introduction to aesthetics, neurotoxins, dermal fillers, advanced techniques and the OVME experience.
  • Training is comprised of shadowing, role playing, hands on and remote learning.
  • Complete the Brand Immersion (the “OVME Way”) including the Brand Values, Team Member Experience and Client Experience.
  • Full understanding and immersion into the Medical Assistant function and how it works in parallel to the Injector role.
  • Training on OVME’s Client Management System for purposes of charting and scheduling.
  • Functions in goal-oriented team – respects monthly goals and ultimately accountable for monthly and annual studio budgets (as defined by OVME’s management team) 
  • Respects OVME culture, and abides by OVME Culture Guide
  • Performs other studio services where appropriately skilled and licensed
  • Maintains all licenses and CME training, as well as OVME recommended training
  • Always presents as a consummate professional to clients and other team members 
  • In coordination with the Patient Care Coordinator, ensures that treatment rooms are maintained in a healthy and clean manner and conform to the OVME standards of sterility and use
  • Maintains all equipment, supplies and other procedural equipment to OVME standards
  • Participates in OVME events (parties) – both onsite and offsite 
  • Reports to Studio Manager and works closely with the Regional Manager, Talent Development team, and Chief Medical Officer.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Requirements for the position 
To fulfill this role, the Injector-in-Training will possess the following requirements
 
Education and Experience 
  • 2+ years Nursing experience, Critical Care preferred (i.e., Emergency, ICU, Operating Room, etc.)
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) license
  • Multi-state / Compact license preferred  
  • Ability to work 1-2 Saturdays per month (post training)
  • Ability to travel during the 12-week training period
