Job description

Class A CDL Driver-Modular Home Transport
Class A CDL Driver is responsible for driving the oversize load semi to deliver the modular homes to the job sites. The remainder of job involves working outdoors with the crew at the jobsite assembling rigging, moving the house onto the foundation, climbing into crawl spaces/onto roofs and cleaning up the job site. Occasional overnight stays may be required (normally 1-3 times per month).
Construction and roofing experience a plus.
This is not a steering-wheel CDL job.
Job Tasks:
  • Pulling modular home housing units
  • Working with escort vehicles
  • Installing anchors and tie-downs
  • Assisting with blocking and leveling homes
Job Requirements
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Valid Class A CDL driver license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to safely handle large loads
  • Physically capable of performing set up work
  • Ability to regularly lift 20 lbs
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work
  • Travel and overnight stays
