Job description

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Maintain a current Class A Commercial Driver's License as required and follows established guidelines by the Department of Transportation.
  • Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of goods.
  • Responsible for daily inspection of vehicle, ensuring proper function of all safety related features of the vehicle at all times; Refueling as needed.
  • Secures, unloads and delivers cargo in a safe and efficient manner; to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Responsible for compiling with regulations when delivering oversized loads.
  • Maintains e-logs in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company needs.
  • Assists with onsite receiving, inspection and material handling as needed.
  • Completes daily equipment pre-inspection and post-inspection.
  • Assists in maintaining good housekeeping in company-owned vehicles and premise.


Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Experience: 6 months’ CDL experience flat beds and tractor-trailers required. Wide load experience preferred.
  • Clean driving record, current CDL operator's license, and current DOT qualifications required.
  • Physical demands: include stooping, bending, twisting and throwing. Perform heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs or more). Working in a variety of climates and environmental conditions.
  • Other skill sets required: Must be customer-focused and team-oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication, motivated and like to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $27.00/hour - $31.00/hour

Job Location: Howard Lake, MN

Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday - 7am-5pm. Flexible start/end time. Mandatory OT based on business needs.
