Flatbed CDL A Truck Driver

Location: Plymouth, MI
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $27.00–$30.00 per hour

Position Summary

Taurus Logistics is seeking a dependable and experienced Flatbed CDL A Truck Driver to join our team in Plymouth, Michigan.

The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, excellent driving skills, and the ability to safely transport loads while following all applicable DOT and company requirements. Flatbed trucking experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate CDL A commercial vehicles and transport loads to designated locations.
  • Secure and inspect cargo according to company and safety requirements.
  • Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain accurate logs and required transportation documentation.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and provide reliable customer service.
  • Report vehicle maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Perform other driving and transportation duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A license required.
  • Minimum 2 years of CDL A truck driving experience required.
  • Clean and safe driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to safely handle and secure loads.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
