Job description

We are seeking an experienced North America Sales Director to lead regional business development for SST solid-state transformers, energy storage and grid power equipment. The role owns full P&L responsibility for North American market growth, key account development, channel construction and large project closure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regional Sales Leadership: Develop and execute North America sales strategies, achieve annual revenue, order and collection targets; adapt product solutions to local 13.8kV grid standards and 800V AIDC power scenarios.
  • Key Account & Channel Development: Develop and maintain relationships with data center operators, utility companies, renewable EPCs and local distributors; build high-quality, long-term regional sales channels.
  • Full-cycle Project Management: Independently manage end-to-end sales processes including lead generation, technical proposal, quotation, negotiation, contract signing and post-sales coordination; oversee MW-level SST project pipeline management.
  • Market Analysis & Localization: Track local market trends, competitor dynamics, UL standards and industry policies; provide product optimization feedback to support local market adaptation.
  • Brand & Benchmark Project Building: Promote brand influence via industry exhibitions and events; deliver landmark projects in AI data centers, PV grid-tied and energy storage fields.
  • Team & Risk Management: Manage regional sales and channel teams, control business and collection risks, and coordinate cross-department resources to ensure stable business growth.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, International Trade or related fields.
  • 5+ years of overseas sales experience in power equipment/renewable energy; prior experience in SST/PET, energy storage converter and high-voltage grid equipment sales in North America is highly preferred.
  • Familiar with North American grid standards, UL certification rules and local bidding processes; proven track record of closing MW-level power equipment projects.
  • Possess mature local resources including utilities, EPCs and end clients; experienced in data center and new energy project development.
  • Fluent in English for daily work, business negotiation and technical presentation.
  • Strong market insight, business development capability and pressure resistance; willing to travel frequently in North America.
