Job description

Tetra Tech, needs an Electrical Engineer in Europe for construction of New US Embassy Compound with State Dept. Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) in Podgorica, Montenegro. Requires a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance.
The Project
  • New US Embassy Compound (NEC)
    • New Chancery
    • Demolition of the existing chancery and temporary annex buildings
    • Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR)
    • Shop Facilities and Utility Building (UTL)
    • Waste Treatment Facility
    • Recreation Facilities
    • Security Upgrades
  • The position is expected to last 24-30 months.
  • Housing and transportation allowances provided.
  • Uplift includes 10% of base salary
  • Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round trip flights home)

Position Description
You will:
  • Provide the NEC project with a full range of critical engineering, construction quality assurance, and technical oversight.
  • Perform technical inspections of electrical work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.
  • Observe on-site construction and make sure construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly.
  • Monitor construction progress regarding project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.

  • US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher
  • US Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Current US PE license can substitute for degree
  • 7 years construction experience
  • ABET accredited international degree accepted in lieu of US Bachelor's or US PE
