We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, safety, and career and personal development. QLM Jacksonville is looking for water meter installers for the Jacksonville area. This position includes two weeks of training at $21 per hour, then after training it turns to piece work- pay is done per device completed.   • Mechanically inclined. 
  • Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines. 
  • Ability to operate basic tools and devices. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in work. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities. 
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments. 
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and valid vehicle registration, and car insurance is a must!
  • Must be able to pass a background check. 

  • Perform water meter installation tasks including minor digging, data entry, and using basic hand tools. 
  • Operate basic hand tools such as wrenches, etc. 
  • Enter data in the provided device. 
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. 
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. 
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work activities. 
  • Adhere to project schedules and deadlines.
