Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob Description

This role focuses on receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items within a stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. You will help maintain accurate inventory records, keep storage areas organized and safe, and support smooth warehouse operations through careful handling and documentation of stock.

Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming stock items, verify quantities, and accurately record data manually or using a computer system.
  • Count stock items regularly and maintain precise inventory records to support operational accuracy.
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing system records to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or correct errors as needed.
  • Store items in an orderly, accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other designated areas.
  • Label stock items clearly using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor and document the use and condition of stock and stock handling equipment, including any damage or issues.
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear, defects, or damage and promptly report any concerns to supervisors.
  • Provide assistance, guidance, or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers to support efficient team operations.
Essential Skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to document inventory and coordinate with team members.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and stock issues.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.
