Job description

Position Overview
We are hiring a Vice President, Contracts Division (Tenant Improvement) with for our client who speacalizes in commercial plumbing. The role is based in Covina, CA, with projects spanning across Southern California.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position with full ownership of a high-performing Tenant Improvement (Tl} division serving as a subcontractor to General Contractors. The role includes full P&L responsibility, operational leadership, and client relationship management.
What You'll Do
  • Own and lead our commercial contracts division with full P&L accountability
  • Manage a team of 5-6 Project Managers, along with Field and Customer Management
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at target margins
  • Drive operational discipline across job costing, scheduling, and execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors
  • Oversee contract execution, including change orders and risk management

What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years in commercial construction or subcontracting (MEP/plumbing preferred)
  • Proven experience owning a P&L in a $10M-$S0M project-based business
  • Strong background managing Project Managers and field operations
  • Solid financial acumen (job costing, margin management, forecasting)
  • Experience in Tenant Improvement or fast-paced project environments

Compensation and Benefits
 
  • $200,000-$250,000 (+Bonus tied to EBITDA + revenue TBD)
