Job description

Position Summary:
Responsible for developing comprehensive 3D models and detailed designs using Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) tools and methodologies. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in design software, a strong understanding of construction processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and construction managers to ensure that designs are accurately represented and that all aspects of the project are properly coordinated.
Essential Functions:
  • Excels at population and coordination using Revit/SysQue per specifications, company standards, and Plumbing/Mechanical codes.
  • Proficient at clash detection using Navisworks for our trades, as well as guiding other trades to reach the desired outcome.
  • Represent their systems and/or lead a coordination meeting for all trade partners for large projects.
  • Communicate with internal team members to gain missing information to complete coordination.
Additional Job-Related Duties:
  • Comply with federal and state law, regulations, and all Company rules.
  • Participate in online and in-person training and other educational opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Any other job-related activities requested by immediate supervisor.
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Revit, SysQue, and Navisworks.
  • Minimum of 10 to 12 years of relevant technical experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • This position requires long hours sitting and using office equipment, including telephones and computers, and may also require some light lifting of files and materials and carrying checks, mail, and other documentation to different departments from time to time.
  • The position may also involve some repetitive motions of the hands, wrists, and elbows.
Working Conditions:
  • This position is normally performed in an office or jobsite office work environment which does not subject the employee to the elements. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.
  • This position may require a flexible schedule, periodic overtime, and overnight travel as needed.
