Supervisors needed in Evanston from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am at $24.00 per hour

We are seeking dependable and professional Supervisors to join our team for overnight coverage from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This supervisor role is responsible for leading the team in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and wellmonitored environment, ensuring consistent policy compliance, and responding promptly and professionally to any safety concerns or unusual activity that arises. Supervisors will provide guidance, support, and clear direction to officers throughout the night while fostering a secure and orderly atmosphere. Strong leadership, professional conduct, and a commitment to helping others are essential to success in this position. The ability to be on your feet for the majority of you shift with extensive walking throughout is a requirement.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Access oversight - Supervise and verify proper monitoring of entry points, ensuring officers follow authorization procedures consistently.
  • Safety leadership - Lead the response to safety concerns, disturbances, or unusual behavior, providing direction and ensuring issues are resolved professionally.
  • Incident report review - Ensure accurate and timely incident documentation, verify report quality, and submit required followups for policy violations or emergencies.
  • Customer service guidance - Model and reinforce courteous, professional interactions that support a welcoming and respectful environment.
  • Policy enforcement oversight - Ensure officers consistently uphold community standards and address noncompliance appropriately.
  • Emergency coordination leadership - Direct officer actions during fire alarms, medical situations, or police activity, ensuring protocols are followed and communication is clear.
  • Visibility and deterrence management - Maintain and direct a strong security presence to deter misconduct and promote safety across the property.
  • Communication with leadership - Notify site leadership promptly of significant issues and maintain clear, ongoing communication throughout the shift.

Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience - Possess a minimum of three (3) years of Security Supervisory Experience, including managing largescale security programs and coordinating multiofficer operations.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills to ensure accurate reporting and effective oversight.
  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and decisive in all situations, including emergencies or escalated interactions.
  • Maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively guide officers, interact with clients, and resolve issues.
  • Provide clear direction, enforce standards, and ensure officers follow established protocols and post orders.
  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED
  • Must have a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or willing to apply for one.
  • Must have a 20-hour training certificate or complete within in thirty (30) days of employment.
  • Candidates who do not currently hold valid CPR and AED certification must complete the required training as part of their onboarding.
  • All applicants must complete a pre-employment screening process to include drug screening.
  • Maintain an impeccable image and adhere to our professional grooming standards.
  • Must have mature demeanor, personality and attitude.
  • Must possess strong customer service skills, public relation skills and the ability to interact well with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Possess strong communication skills, both verbally, written and non-verbal.
  • Must maintain a working telephone at all times.
