The rate offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Hourly Rate:
$23 - $27/hr.
OVERVIEW
Contribute to industrial design efforts in various stages of product development for customers in each of our market sectors. You will work on cross-discipline teams composed of mechanical, electrical, software, product, and quality engineers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Help develop user-centric design solutions that solve complex problems
  • Participate in brainstorms, internal project reviews, client meetings
  • Support cross-discipline product development teams
  • Support all aspects of user research and testing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design for the entire duration of internship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Sophomore or Junior level status
  • GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred
  • Strong sketching and form development skills
  • Adobe Creative Suite tools Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
  • 3D rendering (Keyshot preferred)
  • Experience with SolidWorks is desired
  • Model-making skills (foam core, foam, rapid prototyping, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate and present ideas internally/externally
