Summary/Objective:Promotes the company mission statement byparticipatingin the safe and efficient operation of a telehandler while adhering to safety guidelines and completing required paperwork accurately and on time.

EssentialFunctions:

  • Safelyoperatea telehandler to lift, move, and position materials and equipment according to project specifications.
  • Perform daily inspections of the telehandler to ensure it is in proper working condition, reporting any maintenance issues to theappropriate personnel.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and other vehicles, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of loads.
  • Transport materials and equipment todesignatedlocations on the job site, following all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate material handling activities and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the telehandler and surrounding environment.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, includingalways wearingappropriate personalprotective equipment (PPE).
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately andin a timely manner.
  • Must record daily inspections and perform operator-level maintenance on the equipment.

  • Familiarity with basic mechanical principles and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of rigging and hoisting techniques.
  • Willing to become certified in First Aid and CPR.

WorkEnvironment:This position isrequiredto work in a variety of conditions relative toconstruction jobsite environments and must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, as assigned. Exposure toweatherconditions, heat,cold,etc. is expected.

PhysicalDemands:Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of forcefrequently, and/up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Mustpossessthe visual acuity tooperateequipment and motor vehicles, perform trades tasks, inspect the work of others, and review work for accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.

TravelRequired:Travel to/from multiple jobsites, projects, and offices. Minimal overnight or weekend travel. Valid US driver's license required.
