Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time - Overnight Shift in Hillsboro, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.92 / Hour

DayTimeMon05:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue05:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed05:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, access points, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
