Job description

Nurse Practitioner – Trauma & Acute Care Surgery | Loveland, CO

Join a leading facility in Loveland, Colorado, offering a competitive salary, up to $10,000 annual incentive, and a supportive multidisciplinary team. Location: UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland, CO

Start Date: Immediate or as negotiated

Duration: Full-time, ongoing

Shift: Nocturnist (7 PM–7 AM)

Hours/week: 40 hours

Employment Type: Full Time

Licenses/Certifications: ANCC, BLS, Board Certified, DEA (system-wide clearance)

Experience: Minimum 2 years trauma/surgical experience or completed surgical fellowship

Salary Range: $136,822 – $179,379 annually (depends on experience)

Incentives: Up to $10,000/year through Quality Value Incentive Plan (QVIP)

Relocation Bonus: Up to $10,000 (eligible candidates)

What You'll Do:

  • Provide advanced overnight assessment and management for trauma and emergency general surgery patients
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans
  • Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient care
  • Manage inpatient trauma cases, ensuring high-quality safety and performance standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and document all care accurately in Epic EMR
  • Maintain compliance with medical staff bylaws and privileging processes
  • Participate in mentorship, leadership development, and ongoing education activities

What You Need:

  • Required:
    • Active, unrestricted medical license in Colorado or equivalent
    • Credentialed in ANCC, BLS, DEA, and Board Certified
    • Minimum 2 years trauma or acute surgical experience or completion of fellowship
  • Preferred:
    • Demonstrated autonomous clinical judgment
    • Strong collaboration and communication skills
