Healthy Kids Programs is seeking Staff for our Summer Camp to guide campers through a summer filled with fun, friendship, and unforgettable adventures. This is your chance to lead, inspire, and create lifelong memories for children while being part of a supportive, award-winning team. 

Schedule:

  • Summer: Monday-Friday, shifts between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
  • Potential to continue beyond summer with different hours


LOCATION: Winchester Trail Elementary School in Canal Winchester, OH

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

PAY: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Support site director with daily camp activities, games, hands-on projects, and special events, including arts & crafts and themed activities
  • Create a positive, inclusive environment where campers feel supported, encouraged, and engaged
  • Ensure camper safety and follow all state guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school policies
  • Communicate daily with families using the Playground App and provide support during parent orientations
  • Support community outreach to promote the program and engage prospective families
  • Lead by example with enthusiasm, positivity, and a can-do attitude

Requirements

MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
  • Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
  • Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt.
  • Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children.
