Join Our Team as a Class A Hazmat Delivery Driver!
Are you a skilled driver with a Class A license and a passion for safe and efficient deliveries? We're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Class A Hazmat Delivery Drivers. If you value teamwork, customer service, and take pride in your driving abilities, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
What You'll Do:
  • Efficient Deliveries: Transport materials, products, and merchandise within your assigned route and timeframe. Keep our customers satisfied with timely deliveries.
  • Attention to Detail: Check all paperwork for special instructions and ensure all items are loaded and strapped securely. Unload products into designated customer storage areas.
  • Customer Interaction: Verify delivery of items with customers, obtain proper signatures, and handle discrepancies with professionalism.
  • Safe Handling: Use hand carts or electric pallet jacks to unload products, including navigating ramps, stairs, or docks in various weather conditions.
  • Compliance: Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and our company policies for pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities. Maintain accurate DOT logs and vehicle maintenance reports.
  • Safety First: Adhere to preferred work methods and report any unsafe conditions immediately. Maintain all assigned equipment safely.
  • Team Player: Establish positive work relationships with co-workers, management, customers, and vendors to contribute to our company's growth.
  • Professionalism: Represent VSI in a professional manner at all times. Attend mandatory staff meetings and participate in group discussions.
