Job description

Job Title: SAP EWM Functional Consultant
Location: Moline, Illinois Onsite
 
Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions, working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design scalable solutions, and support the end-to-end SAP EWM process.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather and analyze warehouse/logistics requirements.

  • Design, configure, test, and implement SAP EWM solutions, both embedded and decentralized.

  • Support full life-cycle SAP EWM implementations, including blueprinting, design, testing, training, and go-live support.

  • Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and TM.

  • Prepare functional specifications for developments, enhancements, and customizations.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide day-to-day support for EWM functionality.

  • Create and maintain system documentation, user manuals, and training materials.

  • Conduct user training and workshops as needed.

  • Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP, BASIS) for development and system performance tuning.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant, with at least 3 years focused on SAP EWM.

  • Experience with at least one full-cycle SAP EWM implementation.

  • Strong understanding of warehouse management processes (inbound, outbound, internal movements, RF, etc.).

  • Proficient in EWM configuration, master data setup, and integration points with other SAP modules.

  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.

  • Experience in decentralized EWM environment is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP EWM certification.

  • Experience with automation systems (e.g., conveyors, robotics) and integration via IDOC, EDI, or middleware tools.

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.

  • Experience with WM to EWM migration projects.
