Job Summary:

Join our dynamic Nursing Department at Phoenix as a full-time LPN on the overnight/AM shift! In this vital role, you’ll provide safe and therapeutic patient care, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Scheduled Shift: Overnight (Noc) Shift

Job Qualifications:

  • Current LPN licensure

  • New Grads are welcome to apply

  • A Level One Fingerprint Card is required

  • Current BLS for Healthcare Provider card

  • Minimum 6 months of psychiatric experience required

  • CPI Certification required within 30 days of hire

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute psychiatric inpatient setting preferred

Job-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Observe, record, and report changes in patients’ conditions promptly and accurately

  • Monitor safety within the therapeutic milieu and actively assist in managing crisis situations, including assaultive patients

  • Assist in the admission process, including comprehensive data collection and orienting new patients to the unit and program

  • Document relevant patient interactions, collected data, and responses to therapeutic interventions in medical records

  • Collaborate closely with RNs and interdisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate individualized care plans
