Description
RN Supervisor
MHMR is looking for a detailed oriented RN Supervisor that provides support to the Mental Health Jail Diversion Center inpatient and outpatient Transition Program. The Registered Nurse Supervisor provides nursing oversight for all aspects of the program and oversees daily operations and is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. The RN Supervisor will be responsible for developing and maintaining a standardized environment to meet Texas CCBHC and CARF standards consisting of patient focused care, defining standards for evidence-based quality patient care, managing, and developing a positive nursing environment, hiring, scheduling and training staff as well as providing leadership to the nursing team.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Associate degree
Defined Education: Nursing
Preferences: Bachelor's Degree; One (1) year of experience with individuals with substance use disorder
Substitutions: Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years of experience and One (1) year of supervisory experience
Years' Experience: Four (4) years
Defined Experience: Nursing field
License/Certifications: RN License, CPR, Valid Texas Driver's License
Special Courses: None
Supervisory Experience: Three (3) years
