Responsibilities

As part of Community Health System, you will join a team dedicated to advancing patient safety and improving clinical outcomes across our hospitals and clinics. In this role, you will use your clinical background and analytical skills to elevate organizational quality performance, including national standards such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) 5-Star Quality Rating and the Leapfrog Safety Grade. 

In this role, you will identify trends in clinical outcomes, translate performance data into clear and actionable insights, and partner with departments to support meaningful and sustainable improvements. Your work will help drive patient safety initiatives, strengthen care delivery processes and support caregivers and leaders in making data-informed decisions that enhance the quality of care across the system. 


Qualifications

Education & Experience  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a Healthcare related field required 
  • 5 years of quality, clinical, compliance, or healthcare administration experience required 
  • Experience with regulatory bodies and requirements for process implementation (e.g., TJC, CDPH, CMS) required 
  • Educational and training experience required 
  • Project management experience required   
Licenses and Certifications
  • RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required  
  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
