Job description

YOUR DAY TO DAY:

The RF Feeds Test Technician will perform testing, calibration, and verification of RF feed components to ensure products meet performance specifications and quality standards. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and comfort working with RF test equipment in a production environment.

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Set up and operate RF test equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final testing of RF feeds, subassemblies, and components.
  • Interpret test results and compare data against established specifications and tolerances.
  • Troubleshoot RF issues and assist engineering with root cause analysis.
  • Document test data accurately within production and quality systems.
  • Follow established testing procedures, work instructions, and calibration requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality to support product flow.
  • Assist with maintaining test stations, equipment calibration schedules, and general lab organization.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, ESD, and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or associate degree in Electronics, RF Technology, or similar preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in RF testing, electronics testing, or related technical field.
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment such as VNAs, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Ability to read schematics, test procedures, and work instructions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency entering data and completing electronic documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with antenna feeds, waveguides, coaxial assemblies, or microwave components.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00
