Summary
Under the guidance of Enrollment Managers and Call Center Managers, the Benefits Counselor is pivotal in educating client employees about their employer-sponsored insurance products. By utilizing fact-finding techniques and building rapport, the Benefits Counselor ensures employees are informed and empowered to choose the best-fit benefits solutions. This role requires close collaboration with Account Executives and Call Center Managers to meet client standards during consultations. Benefits Counselors will assist employees with enrollment activities and can work on-site or remotely from a call center
This position offers a flexible schedule and focuses on employee benefits education and enrollment. Benefits Counselors communicate available benefit options to eligible employees, providing guidance and support throughout the enrollment process.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Education and Enrollment
  • Educate employees on available benefit programs via face-to-face, phone, or web-based consultations.
  • Assist employees with enrolling in selected programs through electronic platforms.
  • Ensure applications are completed accurately and submitted in compliance with data privacy and security policies.

Training and Collaboration
  • Participate in case-specific, enrollment, product, and system training sessions.
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive team to meet client standards.

Professional Conduct

Base Pay Range: $25-34 per hour
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location.
