The Peer Support Behavioral Center is excited to announce an opportunity for dedicated Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our expanding team in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with primary care providers to identify, address, and manage mental health and psychosocial issues, acting as a vital member of the healthcare team.

  • Assess and identify vulnerable populations within your caseload, contributing to the development of strategies aimed at preventing deterioration of their condition.
  • Coordinate health service delivery related to behavioral health by connecting patients with additional support providers, with their informed consent.
  • Document patient progress and diagnostic information diligently in treatment records, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Advocate for patientsโ€™ needs and keep primary care providers informed regarding treatment plans and adjustments.
  • Empower patients with self-management techniques and educational resources that promote participation in their treatment journey.
  • Contribute ideas and consult on behavioral services, potentially influencing clinic management practices and program development.
  • Assist patients in complying with medical treatments and provide strategies to mitigate any adverse effects from prescribed medications.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in practice as defined by the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
