Overnight Remote Matchmaker information

What is an overnight remote matchmaker?

Overnight Remote Matchmakers are professionals who work outside of traditional business hours, often during late-night or overnight shifts, to help individuals find compatible romantic partners. They typically work remotely, using technology to communicate with clients and manage matchmaking databases. Their responsibilities may include conducting interviews, analyzing compatibility, and facilitating introductions, all while accommodating clients in different time zones or with unique schedules. This role is especially valuable for clients who need support outside of normal hours or who live in various parts of the world.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an overnight remote matchmaker?

To thrive as an Overnight Remote Matchmaker, you need strong interpersonal skills, keen intuition for compatibility, and experience in relationship advising or customer service, often supported by relevant training or a background in psychology. Familiarity with CRM software, online dating platforms, and communication tools is typically required. Excellent communication, empathy, and discretion are essential soft skills that help build trust and rapport with clients. These skills ensure that matchmakers can effectively connect clients, provide personalized recommendations, and maintain a high standard of client satisfaction, even during overnight hours.

What are some common challenges faced by overnight remote matchmakers, and how can they be addressed?

Overnight remote matchmakers often encounter challenges such as managing client expectations across different time zones and ensuring high-quality communication while working independently. Adapting to a nocturnal schedule and maintaining motivation during quieter hours can also be demanding. To address these, it's helpful to establish a consistent routine, use collaboration tools to stay connected with team members, and prioritize self-care to avoid burnout. Proactive communication and regular check-ins with clients and colleagues help maintain engagement and ensure smooth matchmaking processes.

Job description

Description

WHO WE ARE

C3 is different and we like it that way. Our mission is to bring color and a fresh perspective. Our vision is to create peace of mind.

At C3, our Client Managers are key in providing our clients with the experience that sets C3 apart in the industry. Client Managers provide fast, effective service of the day to day needs of our mid-sized and moderately complex clients by being knowledgeable in coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting, and legislative changes, maintaining relationships with clients and carrier representatives and assisting in suggesting new lines of coverage for existing clients.

WHO YOU NEED TO BE

  • You are the best of the best! Your producers and clients love you and you know how to keep them delighted!
  • You have the needed expertise and experience (5+ years) to ensure smooth new and renewal marketing, placement, and policy delivery to producers or clients.
  • You have the servicing of accounts (endorsements, audits, invoicing, etc.) down to a science.
  • You know that quality is key, and your attention to detail is one of your best traits, along with being well organized, excellent at math, and having some great written and oral communication skills.
  • Technology is your friend - you usually know all the shortcuts and what you don't know, you learn quickly.
  • You know that attitude is everything. You come to work ready to be a team player every day, even if that means having to step up to other duties from time to time.
  • You have an active P&C license. If you have a college degree, that sends you to the top of the list, but it isn't required. If you have an insurance designation, that's even better!

THE JOB

A Client Manager contributes to C3's success by performing the following tasks:

  • Act as the main, day-to-day contact for clients in your book.
  • Prepare Applications and other documents required for a submission.
  • Perform Contract reviews for insurance requirements compliance.
  • Prepare Certificates of Insurance, Invoices, and Finance Agreements.
  • Process Endorsements, Audits.
  • Analyze and compare current exposures to develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing.
  • Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, and review quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy.
  • Review and summarize marketing results and prepare proposals.
  • Monitor and manage the renewal marketing and bind process, in partnership with the Producer (and at times with a Client Executive).
  • Check binders, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
  • Prepare summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clients.
  • Participate in the claims process, including claim submission, follow-up, and overall communication.
  • Ensure financial aspects related to invoicing and premium financing are performed correctly and timely.
  • Maintain files in accordance with company policy and professional standards outlined by the Department of Insurance.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills for both client and internal communication.

THE FINE PRINT

Work Environment & Physical Demands
