Job description

Role Senior UNIX/Linux Systems Administrator
Location Remote USA
Project Description:
DXC is scheduled to migrate our client's applications and related servers from the customer's data center in Phoenix, AZ to the DXC data center in Suwanee, GA. This will require both lift and shift of existing servers, as well as, the build-out of new hosts at the target data center. Some of these servers will run RHEL v4-8 and some are VCS clusters.
We have a thirteen-person UNIX team (8-onshore, 5 offshore) with one designated as team lead.
Responsibilities:
Install, build, configure and maintain RHEL 4-8 hosts in support of the data center migration project.
Support the movement of existing hosts, including VCS clusters, from the client's data center in Phoenix, AZ to the DXC data center in Suwanee, GA
Support UNIX systems running RHEL4-8 and HPUX 11.31
Support of both physical and virtual servers
Participate in on-call rotation
Shift flexibility
