What is the opportunity?
As Product & Technology Counsel, you will take on a highly impactful role supporting how Omnissa builds, scales, and partners across our entire platform. You will work directly with product, engineering, security, and alliances teams to help shape new features, enable strategic integrations, and drive our most complex technology partnership, OEM, and embeddedtechnology deals. This role reports to our Senior Managing Counsel - Product & IP. The Omnissa Legal Team values curiosity, exploration, and continuous learning. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Partner closely with product, engineering, security, and alliances teams across all Omnissa product families to provide practical, businessfocused legal guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead the negotiation and structuring of technology alliances, strategic integrations, OEM arrangements, embeddedtechnology, and marketplace deals.
  • Advise on legal, regulatory, data, and security issues related to product design, functionality, interoperability, and thirdparty integrations.
  • Support commercial and channel partner agreement negotiations when product involvement is required.
  • Assist with intellectual property considerations related to product development, including patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights.
  • Develop scalable legal frameworks, guidance, processes, and training that help product and engineering teams move quickly while managing risk effectively.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts on specialized risk areas and escalate issues where appropriate.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance legal team efficiency, including opportunities to incorporate automation or AIenabled workflows.

What will you bring to Omnissa?

  • At least 7 years of legal experience, including at least 4 years inhouse at a technology company.
  • Deep experience negotiating complex technology alliances, integration partnerships, OEM agreements, and embeddedtechnology deals.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into clear, actionable guidance for product and engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex matters and exercise strong judgment in fastmoving, crossfunctional environments.
  • Broad issuespotting capability across privacy, security, IP, regulatory, and productrelated domains.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationshipbuilding skills.

Compensation: The typical base salary for this role is betweenUSD $152,812- $254,000 per year and it may be eligible for participation in a corporate bonus program. Actual compensation offer may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, or other relevant factors.
